Why can't I see the seller's phone number?

Private sellers' names, phone numbers and email addresses are never published on the marketplace or in the page source. This protects owners from scams and unsolicited contact, and it means every conversation is documented with a reference code.

How do I book a test drive?

Tick the test-drive option on the enquiry form and tell us when suits you. E-Biz confirms availability with the owner, then comes back with a confirmed date, time and location. You will always hear the arrangement from E-Biz, not from the owner directly.

Is it free to list my own vehicle?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Listing a private vehicle is free. A success commission is only payable when the vehicle actually sells to a buyer introduced through E-Biz Vehicle Sales. If it does not sell, nothing is owed.

How much is the private seller commission?

Accepted Answer

The current rate is published on the Private Seller Fees page and is set by E-Biz administrators. When a sale is confirmed, a commission record is raised automatically with the amount clearly shown, and it can be settled online by Visa credit or debit card.

What happens to my personal information?

Your details are only shared with a business after you explicitly consent on the enquiry form, and each consent is stored with a timestamp. For private vehicle sales, your details stay with E-Biz Vehicle Sales and are used only to coordinate the sale.

How quickly will someone respond to my enquiry?

Accepted Answer

Enquiries raise an immediate internal alert for the E-Biz team. We aim to make first contact the same business day using your preferred method: phone call, WhatsApp or email.

Question 8

Can I buy through a dealership instead?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dealership listings show the business profile, and enquiries are routed to that dealership with your consent. You can also opt in to be introduced to financing, insurance and service providers for the vehicle you are considering.
